TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Alabama-Ole Miss game, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, will be televised by CBS Sports, the network and Southeastern Conference Office announced Sunday afternoon.
The game will kickoff at 2:34 p.m. (CST) from Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.
The Ole Miss game marks the Crimson Tide's fourth television appearance of the season and its third on CBS Sports. The network also aired Alabama's game at Arkansas (Sept. 23) and at Florida (Sept. 30).
Alabama has appeared on CBS 11 times in its last 18 games, including eight times during the 2005 season. Alabama's 13-10 win over Ole Miss last year in Oxford, Miss., was also televised by CBS Sports. Jamie Christensen's 31-yard field goal on the final play of the game gave the Crimson Tide the win.
The SEC has two other television games this weekend, including Vanderbilt at Georgia (Lincoln Financial Sports, 12:30 p.m., EST) and Florida at Auburn (ESPN, 6:45 p.m., CST)
