The University of Alabama football team hit the practice field for the first time during its off week today with the younger players getting an opportunity to show their stuff.
"Practice went well today, we worked a lot of younger guys," said head coach Mike Shula. "We cut down on practice and just worked against ourselves. We'll do that tomorrow as well and then Thursday maybe get a little work in on Ole Miss. In the meetings we're working on a little bit of everything; our own stuff, looking back at the first five games in certain areas offensively and defensively and then we're also looking at Ole Miss."
The Tide will work out again tomorrow and Thursday before taking Friday and Saturday off.
