TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The football team conducted its second practice of the bye week as it spent two hours in full pads at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields, Wednesday afternoon.
"The bye week is like a pit stop," said defensive lineman Damion Square. "You tune your car up, so you can finish the race as strong as you can possibly finish it. Hopefully we will be tuned up and ready to go for the rest of the season."
Alabama will practice once more this week before taking the weekend off to rest for Missouri. The Crimson Tide will start preparation for the new Southeastern Conference foe on Monday.
The two teams will square off on Saturday, Oct. 13, in Columbia, Mo. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT, and will air on CBS.
