The Buffalo Bills Marcell Dareus leads off this week's NFL Spotlight after recording seven tackles with two sacks in a 23-20 win over the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens. Dareus' sacks accounted for a loss of 16 yards while adding two quarterback hurries to help secure the Bills second win of the season.
Dont'a Hightower is third on the New England team in tackles with 24 stops this season as the Patriots have started the year with a 4-0 record. This past week, Hightower shared the team lead in tackles with nine during New England's 30-24 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. He registered three solo stops and helped hold the Falcons to just 58 yards rushing.
In the same game, Julio Jones notched his third 100-yard game of the season, catching six passes for 108 yards as the Falcons came up short against the Patriots. Jones averaged 18 yards per catch and leads all NFL receivers with 481 yards on the season.
Jarret Johnson's efforts on Sunday helped propel San Diego to a 30-21 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. He made four tackles with a sack of seven yards, a tackle for loss and one quarterback hurry. DeMeco Ryans made 12 tackles in a loss to the Denver Broncos with half of a tackle for loss.
Both former Alabama stars on the New Orleans Saints roster may not play tonight when New Orleans hosts the Miami Dolphins in ESPN's Monday Night Football matchup. Running back Mark Ingram (toe) is listed as questionable, while safety Roman Harper (knee) is out for the second consecutive week.
