ATLANTA, Ga. – University of Alabama senior quarterback John Parker Wilson has been nominated for the AT&T All-America Player of the Week award, following his performance last Saturday against then-No. 3 Georgia in Athens.
Wilson completed 13 of 16 passes for 205 yards and one touchdown in the Tide’s 41-30 in over the Bulldogs. He became the school’s all-time passing leader in the win at Georgia with 6,398 yards to break the previous record held by Brodie Croyle (2002-05). Wilson now holds all 12 Alabama single-season and career records for total plays, total yards, pass attempts, completions, passing yards and touchdowns.
Alabama fans can vote for Wilson between now and 11:59 p.m. (EDT) Wednesday, Oct. 1 for this week’s award. Fans can text VOTE to 51234 on their wireless phone to opt in for the chance to vote. The winner will be announced during Thursday’s ESPN College Football Primetime Presented by Applebee’s. Standard text messaging rates apply.

Wilson was also named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, following his performance against Georgia on Saturday night in Athens.
