TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama (2-2, 1-0 SEC) football team went through a one hour, 45 minute practice in preparation for their second Southeastern Conference game of the year against the Arkansas Razorbacks (3-0, 0-0 SEC).

Head coach Mike Shula said he is happy with the way his team has responded to this week's practices.

"We've asked the guys to be a little more focused and pay a little more attention to detail," Shula said, "and they've done everything we've asked them to do.

"(Arkansas) is well coached. They've got a lot of talent and they've got size.  With all those physical attributes, they are good football players, too.  A lot of times you will play teams that are big like that but maybe aren't quite the ball players that these guys are.  If you beat this team you're going to beat a good football team."

Shula also announced the captains for Saturday's game:  Brodie Croyle (offense), Roman Harper (defense) and Chris James (special teams).  The Tide and the Razorbacks kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised nationally by CBS.
