TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Alabama Crimson Tide football team worked for two hours on helmets and shoulder pads Wednesday afternoon as preparations continue for the Saturday's Southeastern Conference game with the ninth-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

"It was a good practice (today)," Alabama head coach Mike Shula said following Wednesday's workout.  "We've had two really good practices and the guys have really been positive and done what we have asked them to do."

Once again, Shula was very complimentary towards the undefeated Razorbacks (3-0) and the number of playmakers they have on both sides of the football.

"When you watch tape on Arkansas, they have everything," Shula added.  "They have size.  They have speed.  They have good schemes.  They do a lot of things of things on both sides of the ball.  Defensively, they move guys around   Offensively, they can beat you a lot of different ways, with (tailback Cedric) Cobbs and (quarterback) Matt Jones doing just about anything he wants to do.  So, we have to be zeroed in and hopefully we will have another good day tomorrow."

Alabama will practice again on Thursday and hold a brief walk through on Friday before Saturday's nationally televised game on CBS Sports.  The Alabama-Arkansas game will kickoff at 2:34 p.m. (CT).
