CBS to Televise Alabama-Kentucky Game

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Southeastern Conference announced today that CBS will televise the Alabama-Kentucky football game to a national audience beginning at 2:30 p.m. (CDT) from Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, October 4.

Alabama and Kentucky will be meeting for the 37th time with Alabama holding a 33-2-1 lead in the series that began in 1917. Alabama and Kentucky last met in 2004 with the Crimson Tide winning a 45-17 contest in Lexington. UA won the 2003 game in Tuscaloosa by a score of 27-17 and Kentucky won the game prior in overtime 40-34 in Lexington in 1997.

Other SEC games to be televised on Saturday, Oct. 4 include Florida at Arkansas (11:30 a.m. CDT on Raycom Sports) and Auburn at Vanderbilt (5:00 p.m. on ESPN).
