TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Alabama-South Carolina football game scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2 will kickoff at 5 p.m. (CT) and will be televised by espn2, according to an announcement Monday morning by the Southeastern Conference Office.
 
The Alabama-South Carolina game will be one of four marquee SEC games televised to a national audience that day.  Other games include Arkansas at Florida (11 AM, CT) and LSU at Georgia (2:30 PM, CT) on CBS, and Auburn at Tennessee (6:45 PM, CT) on ESPN.  Jefferson Pilot Sports does not have a game on that day.
 
The South Carolina game will mark Alabama's third televised game of the season.
