TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The top-ranked football team practiced for two hours in full pads on Tuesday at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields as it continued to prepare for this week's game against Florida Atlantic.

"We have really been working on ourselves this week," said defensive back Deion Belue. "We are trying to fix our mistakes from last week's game and stay focused the entire time. We need to be sure we know our assignments. At the end of the day, it comes down to us. We need to play to our standard and get better every week."

Since the 2008 season, the Crimson Tide has recorded a flawless 20-0 record in September games. Coming off of last week's contest against the Razorbacks, Alabama has scored in 145 straight games, the longest scoring streak in program history.

Saturday's meeting between the Tide (3-0, 1-0 SEC) and Owls (1-2, 0-1 Sun Belt) will mark the first time in history the two teams have met on the gridiron. The game is slated for a 4 p.m. (CDT) kickoff and will be televised on a pay-per-view basis.
