Crimson Tide junior wide receiver Tyrone Prothro has been named the Pontiac Game Changing Performance winner as announced on ESPN during halftime of the Utah-TCU football game.

Prothro's acrobatic catch last weekend against Southern Miss received 69% of the votes tallied, running away with the honor.

As a result of the award, Pontiac will donate $5,000 to the University of Alabama's general scholarship fund in Prothro's name.
