TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama versus Arkansas game scheduled for Sept. 27 will be carried by CBS-TV, it was announced Monday afternoon. Kickoff at Bryant-Denny Stadium is slated for 2:30 p.m. (CDT). Verne Lundquist and Todd Blackledge will be in the announce booth, while Jill Arrington will be on the sidelines.
The Crimson Tide's first three games were broadcast nationally by ESPN, while this week's game with Northern Illinois will be televised on a pay-per-view basis in Alabama and Illinois.
David Crane will call Saturday's play-by-play, while former Tide quarterback Tyler Watts will serve as broadcast analyst. Chris Stewart will handle the sideline reporting.
The telecast begins Saturday at 6 p.m. Fans desiring to order the telecast should contact their local cable provider.
The telecast is available on the DISH Network and also available to large C-band satellite customers. Residential customers may order by dialing 1-800-TVSTARS. Commercial customers may order by dialing 1-888-TVSTARS.
Other SEC televised games next weekend will be South Carolina at Tennessee on ESPN and Florida at Kentucky on Jefferson-Pilot.
