TUSCALOOSA, Ala. --  Saturday's pay-per-view of telecast Alabama-North Texas football game will not be available via Dish Network Systems, Crimson Tide Sports Marketing general manager Butch Henry said Friday.

"Dish Network has carried our pay-per-view telecasts in the past and weeks ago assigned a channel for the telecast of this game," Henry said.  "We learned in the last 48 hours that Dish has reassigned the channel and they will not carry the game.

"We are very sorry for Dish subscribers who had placed orders for this game.  Adversely-affected subscribers should contact their Dish Network representatives to complain," Henry said.

The telecast will still be available in Alabama and Texas through participating cable companies.  David Crane, Gary Hollingsworth and Chris Stewart will provide the commentary on the telecast which begins Saturday at 6 p.m.

ESPN Game Plan is picking up the telecast.  However, by Southeastern Conference rule, ESPN Game Plan is blacked out in the states of the participating institutions.
