TUSCALOOSA, Ala – The University of Alabama football team practiced for 90 minutes in helmets and shoulder pads Thursday afternoon in the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility as the team wrapped up its game plan for Saturday’s game against Western Kentucky.
“The attitude and enthusiasm this week has been much better and the preparation for Western Kentucky has been very good, Alabama head coach Nick Saban said. “I think their spread offense and style, which would be similar to West Virginia probably, in terms of what people would be able to identify with, has certainly been a real challenge for us and the players have worked hard to get ready for it.”
No. 11 Alabama and Western Kentucky will meet for the first time this weekend in Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will kickoff at 6 p.m. (CDT) and will be televised on pay-per-view basis. The game can be ordered through your local cable operator and satellite provider. The game will be aired on DirecTV on channel 784 and the DISH Network, but the channel is not known at this time. ESPN GamePlan will offer the game outside the states of Alabama and Kentucky.
