Alabama-Louisiana Monroe Set for Crimson Tide Pay-Per-View



TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Crimson Tide Sports Network will televise the Saturday, September 16 game between the University of Alabama and the University of Louisiana Monroe on a pay-per-view basis.

The game will be available in the states of Alabama and Louisiana through local cable operators or through DirecTV and the DISH Network.  The game will be offered on ESPN Game Plan outside of Alabama and Louisiana.

David Crane (play-by-play) and former Alabama quarterback Tyler Watts (analyst) will call the action from Bryant-Denny Stadium.  Chris Stewart will serve as the sideline reporter. 

The Alabama-Louisiana Monroe game will kick off at 6:07 p.m. (CST).


TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - A star from Alabama's last Rose Bowl team and the 2006 Crimson Tide volleyball team will be featured at Coca Cola Kickoff on the Quad Saturday prior to the Alabama-Louisiana Monroe football game at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Hugh Morrow will be in the Alabama Power Legends Tent.  Morrow was a key player for the 1945 Crimson Tide, which went 11-0, won the SEC Championship and defeated Southern Cal 34-14 in the Rose Bowl.  Morrow will sign autographs in the Legends Tent from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. (CST).

Head Coach Judy Green and the UA volleyball team will be in the Crimson Tide Sports Network team tent from 4:15 p.m. until 5 p.m. (CST).  The Crimson Tide opens SEC play at home this weekend, taking on Mississippi State on Friday, September 15 at 7 p.m. (CST) and Ole Miss on Sunday, September 17 at 1:30 p.m. (CST).

Coca Cola Kickoff on the Quad will also be site of the Crimson Tide Sports Network's pregame show, the Crimson Tide Tailgate Party.  Tom Roberts hosts the show which will include guest appearances by Eli Gold, Ken Stabler, Morrow and Green.


TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- Another installment of "Hey, Coach!", the popular 90-minute weekly call-in show produced by the Crimson Tide Sports Network will air Thursday, September 14 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. (CST) live from Bob Baumhower's Wing's Sports Grille in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama head coach Mike Shula will join host Tom Roberts to talk about the upcoming game with Louisiana Monroe.  Shula will take questions from UA fans via telephone or at the restaurant.

Volleyball coach Judy Green and soccer coach Don Staley will also appear live on this week's show.

Fans can also watch "Crimson Tide this Week", a popular 30-minute magazine television show on Crimson Tide sports each Friday at 10:30 p.m. (CST) on WVUA 7 in Tuscaloosa and WTTO (channel 21) in Birmingham.
