The University of Alabama football team continued its preparation for the Utah State Aggies today, working on two-minute drills and various situations.

"It was a better practice today overall on both sides," said head coach Mike Shula.  "We had a little two-minute work which we hadn't had since last Friday.  We threw and caught the ball better today and we practiced some more situations."

The Crimson Tide will have one final day of practice where they will work on more situations and special teams before going through a final walk-through on Friday.

"Hopefully tomorrow we'll have a good practice," Shula commented.  "It will be shorter, we'll be moving the ball, down and distance type things and do a little more in depth special teams-wise.  We'll just keep talking to our guys about getting themselves mentally prepared; have a plan prepared, don't just wait until Saturday to get yourself ready."

Shula also added that freshman Earnest Nance (MLB, 6-1, Courtland) has been indefinitely suspended from the team for a violation of team policy.
