3  Number of opening day wins by Alabama starting quarterback John Parker Wilson, who has led the Tide to wins over Hawai’i, Western Carolina and Clemson in the last three seasons.

7 Number of receptions by senior tight end Nick Walker. The senior caught seven passes for 67 yards and one TD in the win over Clemson, all career highs.

10 The number of times Alabama has scored on its opening possession in 14 career games under head coach Nick Saban. Alabama has four touchdowns and six field goals on those 10 scoring possessions, including junior Leigh Tiffin’s 54-yard field goal to give the Tide a 3-0 lead against Clemson with 9:43 left in the first quarter.

37.7 The Crimson Tide’s average score during its seven-game winning streak in season openers. Alabama has scored 34 or more points in five of those seven games.

500 Number of career completions for senior quarterback John Parker Wilson, who became the school’s career leader for completions in the season opener. Brodie Croyle (2002-05) held the previous record with 488 career completions.
