BAMA-HAWAI’I ON CRIMSON TIDE PAY PER VIEW

Alabama's season opener against Hawai’i will be available on Crimson Tide Pay-Per View. The Crimson Tide Sports Network's David Crane and Chris Stewart will be joined on the telecast by former Bama quarterback Tyler Watts.  The game will be available in Alabama and Hawai’i through your local cable company.  The game is also available through ESPN GamePlan (all states except Alabama and Hawai’i), DirecTV (Channel 797) and DISH Network (Channel 461).


SHULA MAKES FIRST APPEARANCE ON HEY COACH

Alabama football coach Mike Shula will make his first live appearance Thursday on "Hey Coach", the Crimson Tide Sports Network's weekly call-in show.  The head coach will join program host Tom Roberts every week during the season for about an hour to answer listeners' questions.  The show airs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on radio stations all across the state of Alabama.  Fans may call the show by dialing 877-202-BAMA.  Cingular Wireless callers may call the show by dialing *BAMA.  Also scheduled for the show this week are Bama volleyball coach Judy Green and Crimson Tide soccer coach Don Staley.

 

MIKE SHULA TV SHOW RETURNS FOR 2006

"The Mike Shula Show" returns to Bama television stations this weekend.

The coach will take a look at Bama-Hawai’i highlights along with the new host of the show, Don Hawes, sports director at NBC 13 in Birmingham. Coach Shula and Hawes will be in Bama's football locker room for the weekly show, which will also include two Crimson Tide players. And the coach will share his insight into the game by diagramming a play each week on Chalk Talk.

TOUR THE STADIUM ON CRIMSON TIDE THIS WEEK

Bama fans will get a tour of newly expanded Bryant Denny Stadium this week on "Crimson Tide This Week".  The show's host, David Crane, will take fans inside the new north end zone into the Tide's locker room, recruiting room and the Zone. Crane will also talk with Bama's athletics director, Mal Moore, who led the Crimson Tradition campaign to fund the expansion at the stadium. The show will preview Bama's season opener against Hawai’i and recount Bama volleyball's championship run in the Academy Sports Invitational last weekend.
