TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama head football coach Nick Saban will be featured in an ESPN Gameday commercial along with Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler. Coach Saban shot the commercial earlier this summer in Los Angeles and it is set to air for the first time on Monday, August 31 on all ESPN networks. Crimson Tide fans have the chance to get the first look at Rolltide.com.

""It is great to feature a coach like Nick Saban and the Alabama Football program within our 2009 College GameDay campaign," Emeka Ofodile, Director of Marketing - ESPN College Football / College GameDay, said. "Tapping into the traditions of such a storied program adds to the pageantry and passion that College GameDay celebrates each week throughout the season."

The spot, highlighting Alabama's rich tradition, stars Coach Nick Saban. In Tuscaloosa, during each home game, Alabama plays their best highlights on the jumbo screen right before the Tide take the field. A humorous mishap occurs when Kirk puts in the wrong tape describing his favorite Alabama highlights.

ESPN's College Gameday will be on hand next weekend in Atlanta as the Crimson Tide faces Virginia Tech in the Chick-Fil-A College Kickoff. Admission is free and the show will air live on Saturday, September 5, from 10:00 a.m. - noon (Eastern) at Centennial Olympic Park. Admission is free.
