Aug. 26, 2014

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The football team practiced for about two hours Tuesday afternoon in full pads inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility as the Crimson Tide continue its West Virginia preparations.

Tuesday's workout was the 26th of 28 fall practices and the fourth day of work on West Virginia. The season opener against the Mountaineers is slated for Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game is scheduled for a 2:36 p.m. (CDT) start on ABC/ESPN2.

Saturday's game with West Virginia will be the first meeting on the gridiron for the two tradition-rich programs. West Virginia is coming off of a 4-8 season in 2013, but returns 19 starters for the 2014 season.
