TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team bounced back from a tough scrimmage on Monday afternoon with a brisk workout on Tuesday morning at the Thomas-Drew practice facility. The Tide went through the practice, the first of two slated for the day, in about two hours
"I thought overall our practice was okay, but not great," head coach Mike Shula said. "The thing I liked about practice today was that our older guys did a good job of leading our football team. A day after a scrimmage when it's hot is always one of the toughest practices. Our younger guys are still finding out that they need to push themselves a bit harder."
The second practice of the day is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be closed to the public. The Tide's second and final scrimmage that will be open to the public is slated for Saturday, August 19 at 3:30 p.m. at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
