TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team worked for two hours Wednesday morning in full pads at the Thomas-Drew Practice Facility to open its first two-a-day practice session of preseason camp. The Crimson Tide also held a two-hour practice in helmets and shoulder pads on Wednesday night to wrap up its first day of two-a-days. "Practice has been good," Alabama running back Glen Coffee said after Wednesday's first practice. "I feel like we are getting a lot of good work done. We are getting a lot of good reps at every position" Coffee started three games at running back in 2007, including the Independence Bowl against Colorado. He gained 545 yards on the year with four rushing touchdowns while catching 18 passes out of the backfield for 142 yards. Alabama will practice again Thursday, Aug. 7 at 2:30 p.m. All practices are closed to the public.
