Alabama Offensive Lineman Wesley Britt

"We are the University of Alabama and we look forward to going into every season. I am very excited about what we could do this year. Going into this season I think we can win every game. We have a lot of great players we just have to put it together and learn how to get it done."

On the offense...
"The offense is looking good and we are in a totally different situation going into this season. Last year we got our play books over the summer and since we could not be coach we were just looking at a bunch of stuff we did not understand. This season we have a year under our belts and we have been through this before. The offense makes more sense to everyone. We are able to watch film on us from last season instead of watching a lot of Miami Dophins film. This off season I have been able to focus more on my technic and trying to make everything work right."

On Brodie Croyle...
"He is a great quarterback and takes a lot of time to understand the offensive line and what is happening with us. Brodie has been working hard this off season. He has put on a lot of muscle weight and it just a all around better athlete."

On the loss of Shaud Williams as an offensive weapon...
"We feel vey comfortable with the ability of the offense. Ray Hudson could be one of the best backs in the country. The quarterback, wide recievers, and running backs are all very explosive and can put up a lot of point in a game. So we don't really feel any pressure. However you always want to start the season off strong defensively, because it a little tougher for the offense to find its stride."

On concerns about the season...
"We don't really have any certain concerns going into the season. We just want to stay health during two-a-days. We want to get everything in order and done pat as a team, and we want to make sure that everything is going to click."

On Coach Shula...
"He is a great person. I don't work with him that much since he is so much more involved with the offense. His office is always open to us players. I feel like he looks after us and he is always available for what ever we need."

On the linebackers...
We have one of the best set of linebackers in the nation. They are all killers, that just want to make plays. We are just so deep at linebacker. Freddie Roach and DeMeco Ryans are both athletes, it does not matter what you play them in. They will be competitive and probably beat you. They work hard and they hit hard.
