Alabama Puts in Final Work before First Scrimmage

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team practiced inside the Hank Crisp Practice Facility for two hours Friday in shells as preparations continue for the first scrimmage of the spring on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Friday's workout, which was pushed indoors due to weather, is the seventh of 15 during spring drills. Alabama's 2014 A-Day Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, at 1 p.m. (CDT) inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. The A-Day Game is once again free to the public and will be televised live on ESPNU.

The Crimson Tide's scrimmage on Saturday is closed to the public. Media wishing to participate in the viewing period need to meet at gate 3 at Bryant-Denny Stadium by 12:45 p.m. Saturday.
