Alabama Football Coaching Clinic Slated for March 29-31



Head Coach Nick Saban and the UA coaching staff hosts clinic on Thursday-Saturday, March 29-31

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The 2007 University of Alabama Football Coaching Clinic will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 29-31, on the UA campus.  Among the featured events at this year's clinic will be several offensive and defensive presentations by members of the Crimson Tide coaching staff, including head coach Nick Saban.

Several prominent guest speakers also have committed to appear, including former Crimson Tide head coach Gene Stallings, new Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio, Philadelphia Eagles defensive line coach Pete Jenkins and former Alabama star and NFL standout Cornelius Bennett.

Elite high school coaches from around the nation also are scheduled to conduct break-out sessions, including Allen Creasy (Athens, Ala., High School), Larry Strain (Woodland, Ala., HS), Jack Hankins (Thomasville, Ala. HS), Robert Prunty (Hargrave Military Academy, Va.), Rush Propst (Hoover, Ala., HS), Stacy Luker (Sweetwater, Ala., HS), Marcus Boyes (Wayne County, Miss., HS), John Outlaw (Lufkin, Texas, HS) and Robert Herring (Newnan, Ga., HS).

Pre-registration is encouraged and must be received by March 28, 2007.  On-line registration and printable registration forms are available at in the "Camps and Clinics" section found on the left-hand side menu. Walk-up registration will be available during the clinic.  The cost of the clinic is $40 per coach with pre-registration and $45 per coach for walk-up registration.
