TUSCALOOSA Ala. - The Crimson Tide football team completed its 10th spring practice on Wednesday afternoon at Thomas-Drew fields, highlighted by a short scrimmage featuring second and third string players as well as a goal-line scrimmage.
"It was a good practice," Alabama head coach Mike Price said. "We had the goal-line scrimmage and got to see some young kids who hadn't got to play much."
Price said that the goal line defense was strong and impressed him today. He also praised running back Ezzie Raulls' performance in the short scrimmage.
Price also noted a change from what has been the normal spring practice schedule. On Friday, practice will begin at 4 p.m. and the Tide will scrimmage at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the practice fields.
