TUSCALOOSA, Ala. --- The Alabama Crimson Tide football team completed day two of spring practice Wednesday, despite a heavy downpour that brought soaking rains to the Tuscaloosa area. The squad worked in the rain for about two and one-half hours.
"Well, we know one thing," said Tide coach Mike Price following the practice, "after today's practice, we'll be prepared for the wet ball drill.
"Despite the rain, we had a good practice. It was a credit to the players and coaches to work through the rain. We had a plan for practice in the rain and we just stuck with it."
The Crimson Tide is scheduled to resume practice Friday afternoon and day three will be in pads. That session will begin at 3:30 p.m.
Saturday's practice will begin at 10 a.m. an "part of that practice will have some scrimmage work", Price said.
Spring practice for the Tide will conclude on March 29 with the annual A-Day game which will kickoff at 1 p.m. at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
