TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team completed its second day of spring practice Saturday afternoon at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility. The two-hour practice session was moved in indoors due to inclement weather outside.
For the second day in a row the team ran through drills in helmets and shorts.
"Practice was better today," head coach Mike Shula said. "Our attitude has been good, but we put the ball on the ground too many times today. We have to get that right."
Shula added that free safety Jeffrey Dukes "has shown that he has a tone of range." According to Shula, Dukes is the one guy that has improved every week since arriving on campus.
The Crimson Tide will take the next two days off before returning to the practice field next Tuesday.
