TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team completed its second day of spring drills in a two hour work out at Drew-Thomas field on Wednesday.
"We got through day two, the weather held off and we were able to stay outside," Alabama head coach Mike Shula said. "We continue to look for more consistency, which is what we say every day, but in the spring we can work more on fundamentals."
Shula said that quarterback Brodie Croyle and receiver Tyrone Prothro stood out on offense Tuesday, and that Juwan Garth and Ramzee Robinson looked good, defensively.
The team will take Wednesday off, work in pads on Thursday and shorts and shoulder pads on Friday. Shula said that the team will not scrimmage Saturday, but would incorporate more "11-on-11" work into the practice.
