Four Tide Players to Compete in Senior Bowl Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Four seniors from Alabama's 2008 Sugar Bowl team will compete at the Under Armour Senior Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 6 p.m. at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala.

The game will be televised nationally on the NFL Network and feature Crimson Tide safety Rashad Johnson, quarterback John Parker Wilson, center Antoine Caldwell and tight end Travis McCall.

Wilson finished as the Crimson Tide's all-time leading passer with 7,924 yards and 47 touchdowns while throwing for 2,273 yards in 2008. Johnson went from walk-on to All-American during his time at the Capstone, finishing with 224 career tackles and 11 interceptions while recording five picks and 89 tackles as a senior.

Caldwell and McCall were key components to Alabama's powerful rushing attack. Caldwell was a consensus first-team All-American while McCall also had 24 career receptions for 224 yards and a touchdown.
