66 Tide Football Players Earn Varsity Letter for 2002

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. --  A total of 66 Alabama football players earned varsity letters following the 2002 football season.  Among that group were 26 seniors who helped the Tide to a 10-3 season and a 6-2 record in Southeastern Conference play.

Senior lettermen were split end Joel Babb (Phenix City), strong safety Waine Bacon (Fort Washington, MD), quick tackle Lannis Baxley (Waynesboro, GA), punter Lane Bearden (Helena), middle linebacker John Bevel (Birmingham), rover Brad Biel (Orlando, FL), cornerback Hirchel Bolden (Dothan), Sam Collins (Fayette), cornerback Gerald Dixon (Burtonsville, MD), center Alonzo Ephraim (Birmingham), cornerback Corey Ferguson (Montgomery), tailback Ahmaad Galloway (Millington, TN), free safety Hamid Haqq (Huntsville), free safety Zac Holt (Scottsboro), defensive tackle Jarret Johnson (Chiefland, FL), defensive tackle Kenny King (Daphne), strong safety Carl McInnish (Brewton), free safety Marc Miller (Gadsden), strong safety Eric Moore (Mobile), defensive tackle Kindal Moorehead (Memphis, TN), strong guard Marico Portis (Prichard), defensive tackle Bart Raulston (Sylvania), defensive tackle Derek Sanders (Sandersville, GA), tight end Theo Sanders ( Birmingham), quarterback Tyler Watts (Pelham) and flanker Kip Williams (Chatom).
