• Alabama’s captains for the Texas A&M game were Nico Johnson, Dee Milliner and Kevin Norwood. Alabama won the toss and elected to receive the opening kickoff.

• With the Texas A&M win, Alabama leads the series, 3-2. This was the first meeting in Tuscaloosa.

• In his sixth season at Alabama, head coach Nick Saban has led the Crimson Tide to a 14-8 record in November, with four of those losses coming in 2007.

• Alabama is 21-7 against the Associated Press Top 25 over the past four seasons and 12-4 against AP top 10 teams.

• Today’s paid attendance is 101,821.

• With T.J. Yeldon’s 2-yard touchdown run in the second quarter against Texas A&M, Alabama raised its current total of consecutive games in which it scored to 152 – the longest streak in program history.

Amari Cooper hauled in six passes for 136 yards. It was his second career 100 yard game.

•Alabama has scored at least one rushing touchdown in all but one game this season. The Tide has scored two or more in seven games, including five in a row.

• Senior Jeremy Shelley is the only kicker in the nation yet to miss an extra point or a field goal in 2012. Thus far, Shelley has hit all 43 of his extra point attempts and all nine of his field goals.

• Alabama punter Cody Mandell has recorded two 60 yards punts on the day. He has three 60 yard punts in the last three games and has tallied punts over 50 yards or more twice in each of the last three games.

AJ McCarron saw his passes without an interception streak come to an end as his third pass of the ballgame was deflected off the hands of Kenny Bell and picked off by Sean Porter in the first quarter. With the interception his streak ends at 292 pass attempts, the second longest in SEC history.
