TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The No. 2 Alabama football team dominated North Texas on both sides of the football Saturday night en route to a 41-0 victory before 101,821 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Crimson Tide totaled 586 yards on offense as junior running back Trent Richardson and sophomore running back Eddie Lacy both notched new career-high rushing marks. Richardson finished the game with 167 yards on 11 carries and three touchdowns, while Lacy added 161 yards on nine carries and two touchdowns. "It's obviously good to win," UA head coach Nick Saban said. "I think the goal of what we are trying to do is improve as a team. You have to give North Texas credit. They did a nice job out there and played hard. We played pretty good on defense and got a chance to play a lot of players today. It was great to get a shutout. We ran the ball effectively and made some good plays running. We had two guys gain over 150 yards. I think that is pretty good."
