Alabama Student-Athletes Slated To Receive Degrees Saturday

A total of 15 graduates will suit up for Alabama in the BCS National Football Championship Game on Jan. 7 in Miami, including 11 who earned degrees this semester

2012 (JUNIOR): Has appeared in three games, registering a solo tackle against Western Kentucky.

2011 (SOPHOMORE): Played in the first two games of the 2011 season ... collected one tackle in Alabama's win over Kent State.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Watkins played at Independence High School in Charlotte, N.C. ... coached by Tom Knotts ... made 45 tackles with one interception as a senior.
