Tulane: He connected on both extra-point chances, but missed a good part of the game after absorbing a hit on his first kickoff ... returned to the game for one of his two extra points but did not try a field goal. Western Kentucky: Tiffin was 2 for 3 on field goal attempts ... connected from 22 and 25 yards ... missed a 45-yard attempt into the wind at the end of the first half against the Hilltoppers. Arkansas: He did not attempt a field goal in Fayetteville, but did connect on all seven point-after-touchdown opportunities. Georgia: Tiffin hit two field goals and five extra points for nine total points in the Crimson Tide's 41-30 win at No. 3 Georgia ... hit a 23-yard field goal on Alabama's second drive of the game ... then booted a 32-yarder through the uprights in the fourth quarter that doused a Georgia comeback and iced the game for the Tide ... was named the coaches' special teams player of the week for his efforts. Kentucky: He was 1 of 3 on field goal attempts against the Wildcats ... but booted through the 24-yard field goal with 2:12 remaining in the game to secure the win ... was 2-for-2 on extra-point attempts. Mississippi: Tiffin connected on a 41-yard field goal with 4:45 remaining in the second quarter in a 24-20 win over the Rebels ... also hit on all three extra points. Tennessee: He was selected as the special teams player of the week by the Alabama coaching staff against the Volunteers, going 3 for 3 on field goal attempts and connecting on both extra-point opportunities ... scored 11 points ... connected on field goals from 39, 43 and 30 yards in the Crimson Tide's 29-9 win in Knoxville. Arkansas State: Tiffin missed his only field goal try, a 37-yard kick at the end of the first half ... connected on all five extra points. LSU: He missed both field goal tries at LSU's Tiger Stadium ... missed from 42 yards in the second quarter ... with the game tied a 21-21 with only four seconds remaining had a 29-yard attempt blocked by the Tigers. Mississippi State: Tiffin garnered his second Lou Groza Award "Star of the Week" after hitting all three field goals (35, 34, 35) against the Bulldogs ... also booted three extra points for 12 total points. Auburn: He booted a 37-yard field goal on the final play of the first quarter to open the scoring in a 36-0 rout of Auburn in the Iron Bowl ... had an extra-point blocked ... connected on three others. Florida: Tiffin connected on all four kicks against the Gators ... hit a 30-yard field goal with 3:28 remaining in the first quarter to put the Tide on top 10-7 after one stanza ... then drilled a 27-yard attempt with eight seconds remaining in third quarter for a 20-17 lead ... scored eight total points to put him over 100 points (101) on the year. Tiffin was named the 2008 Paul "Bear" Bryant Outstanding Non-Scholarship Player award following spring practice in 2008. 2006 (FRESHMAN): He served as a backup place-kicker and played in five games after an injury to the starter Jamie Christensen ... finished the season 8-for-13 on field goals and 12-of-13 on extra point attempts ... connected on 3-of-4 attempts in his first collegiate game in the season-opener against Hawai'i ... followed with a perfect 2-for-2 effort, including the game winning 47-yarder in the fourth quarter against Vanderbilt to earn him SEC Special Teams Co-Player of the Week honors ... made 2-of-3 field goals against Louisiana-Monroe along with five PATs, a season high ... made a 46-yard field goal in his first collegiate road game at Arkansas ... finished the season with three kickoffs for a 57.7 yard average ... named Alabama Special Teams Co-Player of the Week against Hawai'i and Vanderbilt. HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Tiffin graduated from Muscle Shoals High School ...
