Selman made his UA playing debut against Florida International in 2006 ... is perfect on his snapping chances during the first three years of his career, which includes 272 opportunities over the past two seasons ... won the Bear Bryant Outstanding Non-Scholarship Award following 2009 spring practice ... a two-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection. 2008 (JUNIOR): Selman was perfect during his second season as Alabama's starting long snapper ... started all 14 games and was successful on all 137 of his snapping opportunities, including 61 punts, 47 extra points and 29 field goals ... earned Academic All-SEC honors during the fall of 2008. 2007 (SOPHOMORE): He saw action in all 13 games as the Tide's snapper on punt and field goal units ... successfully executed all 135 snaps (65 punts, 36 PATs and 24 field goals) ... the punt team allowed only one blocked punt on the season ... recorded one solo tackle in the win over Arkansas on Sept. 15. 2006 (FRESHMAN): Selman served as the back-up long snapper ... saw his first action in the fourth quarter of the Tide's homecoming win over Florida International.
