2006 (Junior): Played in 10 games on the season, seeing most of his action on special teams. He recorded his first career blocked punt against Florida International. He played a total of 62 snaps on the season with a season-high 16 plays against the Golden Panthers. He also played 12 snaps against Louisiana Monroe.
2005 (Junior) Forress played on special teams in the homecoming win over Utah State.
2004 (Sophomore) Rayford made his Alabama debut in the Western Carolina game.
2003 (Freshman) Did not see varsity action.
Prep: A three year starter at UMS-Wright, Rayford played on back-to-back state championship teams. He was selected MVP of the 2002 Championship game. Forress accumulated 11 blocked kicks, and 10 interceptions during his junior and senior years at defensive back. He earned All-State honors his senior year, and was selected to play in the North-South All Star game. He was captain of the football team. Rayford was also selected All-State in Track and Field, earning three individual state titles and three team state titles. He was captain of the UMS-Wright basketball team, and was elected to the All-County team. Forress served as president of his senior class.
Personal: Born Thomas Forress Rayford, he is the son of Forress and Louise Rayford. He has one sister, Haley Landers. His dad, Forress, was an SEC and NCAA champion as a member of the University of Tennessee track team. Both his mother, Louise, and sister, Haley, attended the University of Alabama. Born 9-5-84.
