2006 (Junior): Played a total of 66 snaps in nine games. He played a season-high 17 plays against Duke and had 13 against Florida International. He finished the season with eight tackles. He had four tackles against Duke and one against Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida International and Mississippi State. 2005: Redshirted 2004 (Sophomore): At Middle Tennessee, Mustin played in eight games, registering 19 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss for one yard. 2003 (Freshman): Played in 11 games, but most of his action was on special teams and finished with six total tackles. His first collegiate action came against No. 8 Georgia. Prep: A Division II All-State selection his junior and senior year at Brentwood Academy, Mustin collected over 100 tackles to go along with five interceptions and four touchdowns in leading Brentwood Academy to a 10- 3 mark and an appearance in the Clinic Bowl. He had 17 tackles and three sacks in the Clinic Bowl against MBA to earn the game's Defensive MVP award. He lettered in football, basketball, and track.
