2006 (Junior): Gray played 388 snaps in 13 games. Added 17 tackles and two pass breakups. Named Alabama Special Teams Player of the Week following win over Duke (Oct. 7). Earned first career start at LSU (Nov. 11) and started final three games of the season. Season-high 78 snaps and career-best six tackles against Oklahoma State in Petro Sun Independence Bowl (Dec. 29)

2005 (Sophomore): Gray played 115 snaps in eight games. Recorded seven tackles. He logged season-high four tackles in UA's homecoming win over Utah State (Oct. 29)

2004 (Freshman): Gray played 128 snaps in nine games ...Used mainly on special teams. Recorded four tackles.Made his Alabama debut against Utah State (Sept. 4). Recorded one fumble recovery against Western Carolina (Sept. 18). Season-high two tackles against Kentucky (Oct. 9).

2003 (Freshman): Redshirted.

Prep: Attended West Morgan High School. Played for Coach Pierre Coggins. Rushed for 4,504 yards and 50 touchdowns in his career,Also logged 175 tackles and 13 career interceptions. He rushed for 1,965 yards and 21 touchdowns to earn All-State honors as prep senior. On defense, he added 30 tackles and four interceptions in leading West Morgan to 11-1 record and second round of Class 4A state playoffs. Tallied 1,154 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior. Posted career-long 95-yard touchdown run against Danville. Also added 43 tackles and three interceptions as a junior .

Personal: A native of Trinity, Ala. Parents are John and Linda Gray. Older brother, Antonio, played football for Coach Jeff Bower at Southern Mississippi from 1997-2000.
