SENIOR (2015): Finished off a successful career at Alabama as part of two national championship teams ... earned Freshman All-America honors in 2012 from Sporting News and followed that up by earning the starting job at jack linebacker in 2013 before battling through an injury-plagued 2014 campaign ... in 15 starts during his senior season, he racked up 25 total tackles including five for a loss (-9 yards), with one sack (-4 yards), six quarterback hurries and two pass breakups ... named one of the Alabama coaching staff’s defensive players of the week for his performance in the ULM game. Wisconsin: Was a presence in the start at jack linebacker, but did not record any stats ... helped limit the Badger offense to just 268 yards of total offense and 17 points. Middle Tennessee: Recorded a career-high seven total tackles, including three unassisted stops ... also notched one tackle for a loss of one yard ... helped limit the Blue Raiders to 275 yards of total offense. Mississippi State: Recorded one tackle that went for a loss of one yard ... helped limit the Bulldog rushing attack to 89 yards, including only 14 on 26 carries by MSU quarterback Dak Prescott. JUNIOR (2014): Started seven games at outside linebacker and played in eight, missing six games due to injury ... returned to the field in his home state of Louisiana against LSU ... finished with 11 tackles on the season with one tackle for loss (-2 yards), two quarterback hurries and two solo stops. West Virginia: Notched three assisted tackles as the Crimson Tide limited the Mountaineers to just 28 yards rushing. FAU: Had one assisted tackle in the shutout win. Florida: Made two solo tackles and one tackle for loss (-2 yards) as the Tide limited the Gators to only 200 total yards. Ole Miss: Started and made one tackle before suffering a high-ankle sprain. SOPHOMORE (2013): Started three games and saw significant action in all 13 contests at jack linebacker ... recorded 30 tackles with 14 solo stops, five tackles for loss (22 yards), three sacks (20 yards), three quarterback hurries, a pass breakup and two forced fumbles. Virginia Tech: Registered two solo tackles in win over the Hokies. Texas A&M: Forced a fumble and made a career-high five tackles (three solo) in victory at Kyle Field. Colorado State: Assisted on one tackle in home opener against the Rams. Ole Miss: Recorded two sacks for a loss of 16 yards as the Tide limited the Rebels to 205 total yards and shut them out 25-0 ... the two sacks equaled his career high. Georgia State: Had one solo tackle as the Crimson Tide held the Panthers to 15 rushing yards. Kentucky: Added a solo tackle in the 48-7 win that saw Alabama allow only 170 yards of total offense. Arkansas: Registered a sack for a loss of four yards ... had three total tackles and a quarterback hurry, as the Razorbacks managed only 91 yards passing. Tennessee: Had four tackles with a solo stop and a pass breakup. LSU: Started and had four tackles with one solo stop ... added a quarterback hurry. Mississippi State: Did not start in the nickel formation, but he came off the bench to record a quarterback hurry and assisted on one tackle.
