Started at left guard in each of the Crimson Tide's 13 games. Tallied 55 knockdowns during the regular season with five or more in six games. He had a season-high nine knockdowns against Duke to lead the team and also led the squad with six against Vanderbilt. He had a total of 734 snaps on the season with a season-high 74 plays against Arkansas.He was one of only nine players to play over 700 snaps.
2005 (Sophomore): Playing in 10 of 11games, Justin earned starts against Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss and Mississippi State. He closed the regular season with six tackles, 1.5 stops behind the line for four yards and one-half sack for three yards. - He turned in a pair of tackles each against Middle Tennessee and Mississippi State. Britt joined his two brothers, Wesley (OL, 2001-04) and Taylor (OL, 2005), to become the 10th trio of brothers to start for the University of Alabama.
2004 (Freshman): Justin played in 11 of 12 games, missing the Southern Miss contest with an ankle sprain.He had a season-high 28 snaps in the Music City Bowl against Minnesota and finished with 214 snaps on the season. He had 12 tackles, two stops behind the line for 10 yards and one sack for nine yards. He had a career-high three tackles in the Mississippi State game. His sack came against MSU.
Prep: Justin is the third Britt to join the Alabama squad, following older brothers Wesley and Taylor to the Capstone. Like his brothers, Justin had a standout career at Cullman High in North Alabama where he amassed 373 career tackles. He was a two-way lineman in his senior season, recording 98 tackles (20 for loss) along with 15 QB sacks. He graded 89 percent blocking as a senior and also had four rushing touchdowns while playing fullback. Britt was selected to Birmingham News' Super Seniors list. He earned first team All-State honors and was named class 5A's Lineman of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writers Association. Britt had a superb sophomore season, getting 145 tackles (90 solo) and earning First Team All-State honors as a linebacker. His junior year he made the switch to the
defensive tackle position and totaled 112 tackles (70 total) and he was the state outdoor discus champion and state indoor and outdoor shot put champ.
Personal: Justin is the son of Tommy and Vera Britt and other than his two football playing brothers, he has two sisters,Melissa and Lindsay.
