The Crimson Tide has been a fixture in the NBA draft since 1973 with an
Alabama student-athlete being selected in 23 of the drafts since 1973.
Alabama has produced 14 first-round draft picks all-time, five of them
coming in the 1980s when Alabama had a player drafted in all but two drafts
in the decade. All told, 42 former Crimson Tide players have been selected
in the NBA draft.
