Douglas is in his first season as head coach at Stillman College. He made history at Alabama in 1976 when his name was called by the Detroit Pistons as the fourth pick in the NBA draft. It was the first time an Alabama basketball player had been drafted in the NBA’s first round, though it has now produced 14 first round draft picks.
