Six Crimson Tide basketball players spent a few minutes between their own classes Friday morning to participate in the Tuscaloosa County School System’s Red Ribbon Week.

Red Ribbon Week is a project designed to remind kids of the dangers of drugs and addictions and to stay drug free.

Tide hoops players Chuck Davis, Justin Jonus, Richard Hendrix, Alonzo Gee, Brandon Hollinger and John Dill went to downtown Tuscaloosa’s Bama Theater where they met some 950 third graders from the Tuscaloosa County School system.
