TUSCALOOSA – University of Alabama sophomore forward Kennedy Winston is progressing well following an arthroscopy procedure. The procedure was performed on his left knee on September 11 by Dr. James Andrews and Dr. Lyle Cain at the Alabama Sports Medicine Orthopedic Center in Birmingham.
According to Crimson Tide basketball certified athletic trainer John Morr, Winston’s recovery is progressing well. He is expected to be at full strength by November 1.
“Kennedy has been very dedicated in his re-hab,” said University of Alabama Head Coach Mark Gottfried. “It’s unfortunate he’s missing some strength and conditioning time right now. We’ll watch him closely as practice begins on the 18th and hopefully by November first he’ll be at full speed.”
