TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama guard Retin Obasohan had successful surgery on his left ankle on Friday morning, according to an announcement by head coach Anthony Grant.
Obasohan underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his left ankle that was performed by Dr. Norman Waldrop at the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center at Saint Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Ala.
The redshirt junior played in 30 games a year ago, making 20 starts, and returns as the team's second-leading scorer at 9.5 points per game. He also ranked second on the team in steals (54) and led the Tide in free throws attempted (156). He has played in a total of 61 games during his two seasons at the Capstone.
