Jemison Scores 23 to Lead Reach USA in Win

TUSCALOOSA – Demetrius Jemison scored 23 points and had 12 rebounds to lead Reach USA to an 89-61 win against Xia Jing Tigers. The University of Alabama sophomore-to-be and his Crimson Tide teammates Mikhail Torrance are in China playing for Reach USA on a cultural exchange playing tour.

 

Reach USA, which will play eight games within 10 days on the tour, is now 3-0.

 

Jemison’s game included 7-13 shooting from the field and making 9-11 free throws. He started in the game. In three games played so far, Jemison has now scored Torrance scored 15 points and had five assists, coming off the bench. He was 4-9 from the field, including 2-6 from 3-point range. Torrance was 5-7 at the free throw line and had three rebounds.

 

In their three games played, Jemison has scored 58 points for an average of 19 points and has grabbed 34 rebounds for 11 rebounds per game. Torrance has scored 30 points and made 20 assists in three games for an average of 10 points and 6.6 assists per game.
