Tide's Riley Will Play for Portsmouth Invitational Championship

PORTSMOUTH, VA. - The championship game for the Portsmouth Invitational will find the University of Alabama's Mykal Riley playing for the title. The senior scored 13 points and had four steals and two assists in 21 minutes of play in the Portsmouth Sports Club's 100-83 win against K&D Round's Landscaping. UNC-Greensboro's Kyle Hines led the win with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Riley's team will play the Tidewater Sealants at 7 p.m. CT Saturday for the championship. Riley was 5 of 9 from the field, 3 of 6 from 3-point range and played 21 minutes of the game. The Portsmouth Invitational is the nation's oldest amateur basketball tournament and a showcase for seniors to play in front of NBA and European professional basketball scouts. It is by invitation-only and features many of the nation's top senior basketball players.
