At what age did you start playing basketball, and how old were you when you decided that you wanted to pursue basketball further?

“I started playing basketball when I was about eight years old.  I decided that I wanted to pursue basketball as a career between 5th and 6th grade.”

What motivated your decision to choose Alabama?

“There are three reasons why I chose Alabama: I get along with the coaching staff, Alabama is close to home, and I like the environment here.”

How does it feel to be not only apart of Alabama’s basketball team, but also a part of the student body here?

“It feels good to be a part of such a successful team at such a good school. It’s been a great experience.”

Your dunk against Auburn was tremendous! How did it feel to do something that spectacular in Coleman Coliseum?

“It’s just a natural feeling to do something like that in the Coliseum”

What’s your favorite NBA team, and what player do you think has had the largest impact on the game of professional basketball?

“My favorite NBA team is the San Antonio Spurs.  I think that Steve Nash, of the (Phoenix) Suns, has had the most impact.  He’s helped his struggling team as the point guard.”
