Free Shuttle Available for SEC Tournament

NASHVILLE, TN - Representatives of the Nashville Sports Council and Southeastern Conference (SEC) announced that a convenient fan parking location and free shuttle system has been developed for basketball fans during next week’s SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Coliseum parking will be available in Lot R for $10 per vehicle (cars/trucks) per day. RV’s will be charged $10 per occupied space. There is no overnight parking at the Coliseum. Complete details on the shuttle system and parking for SEC Tournament fans are available at www.SECsports.com.

The free shuttle system will run between the Gaylord Entertainment Center and the Coliseum. The shuttle will run in 15-minute intervals, beginning at 9:00 am CST and will end its run one hour after the last game during each day of the tournament, March 9-12. Boarding for the shuttle will be at Lot R at the Coliseum and at the corner of 5th Avenue and Demonbreun, near the south entrance of the Gaylord Entertainment Center. The Coliseum and Gaylord Entertainment Center are approximately 2 miles in proximity.

“It was important for the SEC and the Nashville Sports Council that we provide a convenient transportation system for fans during the Tournament,” said Scott Ramsey, executive director, Nashville Sports Council.

Thursday, March 9 - 9am -*available up to one hour after the last game
Friday, March 10 - 9am - *available up to one hour after the last game
Saturday, March 11 - 9am -*available up to one hour after the last game
Sunday, March 12 - 9am - *available up to one hour after Championship game
